#WeLiveYes – Connect & Care with the Arthritis Community
Social distancing doesn’t mean emotional distancing. During this challenging time, your health and safety are the top priority for the Arthritis Foundation as we go through this medical emergency together. Throughout this difficult time, we’ll be your partner in providing resources, protecting patient rights through our advocacy efforts, and sharing stories of resilience to help you navigate the uncertainty and learn to Live Yes in our new normal. We are all in this together, and we are learning together about the best ways to navigate our new normal. That’s why we’ll be sharing your stories on our blog — stories about how you are adapting your lives, staying active, learning to cope with these circumstances and staying connected with the arthritis community.
You’ll be able to learn from people like Gerica, a Platinum Ambassador based in CA who is taking on new responsibilities like teaching at three grade levels while making sure her child with JA doesn’t get sick. You can take an arthritis-friendly yoga class with Cindy, a Connect Facilitator in MA who has started a new YouTube channel to help people stay active at home. You’ll also read about simple recipes that don’t require a trip to the grocery store from Patient Leadership Council member Laura from WA.
And that’s not all, we’d love for you to share your stories with the arthritis community and stay connected with us. During this time of social distancing, it is more than ever important for us to connect and showcase our stories.
